Object

The object of the charity is to raise funds to help provide assistance to the area in which the Old Wells and District Cottage Hospital, now a charity - The Wells Community Hospital Trust, provided healthcare. The League of Friends formerly provided "Extras" not met from NHS budgets; a similar policy has been adopted towards funding requests from the Wells Hospital and Hospice Trust since the Hospital ceased to be a part of the NHS. The League of Friends also provides grants to local charities whose activities directly relate to the healthcare of the local community.

Donations

Donations to assist the League of Friends in it's charitable work would be greatly appreciated and if they are gift aided this would enable the charity to recover a further 25p in each £1 donated. There is a link below to the charity's gift aid form.
